Lemon Loaf

In my journey to make a poppy seed dessert for Mark I got distracted into making many other baked goods, this being the first. I looked to see if Sally had a lemon poppy seed loaf recipe, because I always search her recipes first since I trust they will be fantastic. I did not find a lemon poppy seed loaf, but I did find this lemon loaf in her cookbook Sally’s Baking Addiction.

The result? A lovely glazed loaf. Simple ingredients, that nice contrast of sweet of and tart and a simple moist loaf. Now that I have tried this recipe, I would love to try her iced lemon pound cake and see the difference.
