Banana Cinnamon Muffins

The bananas were perfectly brown which meant, it was muffin time!! Time to see if the Hummingbird High banana muffin recipe lived up to the expectations set by those glorious blueberry muffins! This recipe involves similar steps with resting the batter, and filling those muffin cups till they are little mountains! This recipe did have some differences, no almond flour and no milk. It used banana and sour cream. The same sugar topping was employed but this time containing cinnamon, which made my apartment smell like churros! Topping the muffins with the sugar gives this really nice crispy top.

Look at those gorgeous, crackly tops! These muffins were delicious. The bottoms aren’t too sweet, and they have MASSIVE muffin tops which, lets be honest, are the absolute best part of the muffin. If I made these again I would add in some chopped pecans for some texture, and maybe some cinnamon in the batter, because cinnamon is my favorite.

These muffins do not disappoint and are absolutely scrumptious. If you have overripe bananas I recommend trying this recipe out to mix things up from banana bread!
